I’m the Manager – Systems & Processes (IT Manager) at Data#3 and have been in the role since 2000. The position includes responsibility for the infrastructure and applications we use. Our environment is not overly complex with 8 office/warehouse locations and a centralized datacenter for the corporate applications. That is not to say we are not kept busy as we support a wide range of technologies and employees skills vary as in any organization.

Through the nineties I managed our customer facing services businesses technical support, projects, application development and recruitment offerings.

I commenced with the company in 1984 as the “first” PC technician and apart from a brief midlife crisis have spent a substantial part of my life with Data#3.

So I’m either a protected species or ok at my job. I like to think the later.
